Avatar: Macai's Journey (also called AMJ and Macai's Journey) is a growing fanon spinoff of the popular Nickelodeon 2005-2008 animated show Avatar: The Last Airbender. Macai's Journey has a strong following on Webnovel and the Avatar Wiki. It can also be read on Wattpad, AO3, and Fanfiction.net. Around the time of Avatar: The Last Airbender (ATLA), a Fire Nation General trains his son to become a fierce warlord.
Avatar: Macai's Journey shows viewers the classic story from a different perspective. More so, AMJ introduces readers to new factions, iconic original characters, and expands on classic characters from ATLA. So essentially, AMJ is a fan Fire Nation centered expansion series that dives deeper into the Hundred Year War and cultures of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
