Character hastags are a key feature of the AMJ wiki. These hashtags are a way to remember popular or important characters from the AMJ universe.

Origins

This theme was ultimately developed by the idea of a key AMJ partner, supporter, and Wiki user KBH (King Bumi's Heir). KBH is a fellow fanon writer, and a good fanon of the author of AMJ (Brian Hanes). KBH is known for creating the Avatar: Legacy of Rong Yan and Avatar: Civil Strife fanfictions. The first ever AMJ hashtag used was #RoshSupremacy. He often used this hashtag to denote why Rosh was his favorite character in the AMJ continuity.

Current Hashtag Trends

1. #RoshSupremacy

Rosh (in Color, Avatar)

Rosh Supremacy denotes that he is supreme over the other characters in the Avatar: Macai's Journey universe. Rosh is known for his personality, charisma, directness, and sharp wit. Another key aspect of Rosh is his rivalry with Azula and his willingness to call her out when others are too afraid to.

2. #KannaForever

Kanna (Avatar, Macai's Journey)

After Rosh got his hashtag, Brian Hanes made sure to give Kanna a hashtag next. There is something about her that just sticks with readers and fans. She is a special character, much like a family member. Someone you always would appreciate if she was a relative. Her positivity, naiveness, and kindness always shine bright. She is AMJ's sweetheart.

3. #SlickFingers

Team Asad (AMJ)

Kedo is the archer on the right.

Slick fingers is a nickname for a 31st archer in AMJ and its sequel ALT (Avatar: Lingering Tensions). Kedo is calculating, loyal, doesn't do much talking, and mainly sticks to his job. He has the ability to enhance his arrows with fire when shooting them because he is also a firebender.

4. #BeautifulNightmare

Alev (Avatar)

This hashtag is assigned to the popular character Alev. She is known for her fearlessness, showiness, and stylish nature. Alev is a pompous noble from the small town Nyarri but she brings her big personality with her wherever she goes. Alev may talk a lot but she can back it up when it comes to looks, fighting, how she dresses, and hygiene. Unfortunately for her, overconfidence and bloodlust can weaken her in combat.

5. #GoldenBoy

Macai (Avatar) In Color 2

While it may be interesting that Macai wasn't listed sooner on this list, he didn't get a hashtag until later. While his title might sound generic it really fits him. Macai is the main character, he's handsome, he is a great fighter, he has a prestigious background, and it seems he has it all together. With that comes the laws that a golden boy often has. Macai is incredibly loyal to the point that he can get played and pawned by leaders above him. Unlike Azula, Macai is somewhat predictable in how he operates and moves. Macai has clear values which are respectable but whether he's a hero, villain, or anti-hero it makes dealing with him more manageable than some other villains on the other hand it also rewards him with loyal allies.

6. #FireFlexer

Lingering Tensions Cover

Ronin (mid right), is known for his drive, fearlessness, and passion. Ronin never gives up, even when his back is against the wall. Ronin takes on enemies even when he knows he is outmatched. A special quality about this firebender is that he knows and constantly says he isn't the best bender in the world. He probably around number 30 in the firebender rankings of his timeline, but he never backs down from a good fight and he isn't out until he's dead, unconscious, or completely restrained. As long as Ronin can breathe, he's going to do something impactful in his life.

7. #ManOfReason

Dade (Avatar)

In a world of insanity, Dade acts as a voice of reason. He stands out for having a name that is nothing like the others. His parents gave him a random name to make him stand out. While many might say he doesn't stand out that much due to not being a firebender, keep in mind Dade is the only major character in the 31st Company who often acts like a normal person. When the team is going on a crazy mission, he comments it. When a request is outrageous, he's the first to say it. This man has sense and that's worth something.

8. #TheConspirator

Team Asad (AMJ)

Every legend seems to have that person who is conspiring against them and behind their back. Asad is always looking for a chance to take what Macai has and undermine his authority. If he couldn't take Macai's place, he'd at least settle for watching him fall. Asad often obeys Macai out of reluctance and necessity but looks for his moment to shine above the 'entitled manufactured leader'.
