Conflicts include wars, battles, skirmishes, scandals, and other incidents that have taken place in the Avatar: Macai's Journey universe.
Major War
A major war is a war where nations war against each other or that consumes massive resources from the nations.
Hundred Year War:
This is the main driving conflict in Avatar: Macai's Journey which derived from the Avatar: The Last Airbender mother series. This conflict was initiated when Firelord Sozin attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads. Soon after, he looked to conquer the rest of the world. His son and grandson continued his mission until Firelord Ozai was ultimately defeated by Avatar Aang.
Minor War
A minor war is one that mainly consists of skirmishes rather than large battles, is only fought within small territories within the nations, and is typically fought between minor factions.
The Remnant Conflict:
The Remnant Conflict, was a series of minor battles, assassination attempts, political captures, and skirmishes that took place between the Fire Nation and the Fire Nation Remnant forces aka Ozai's Restoration Movement. This included multiple Remnant Sects such as Azula's Shadow Warriors and a future group of villains displayed in the AMJ sequel "Avatar: Lingering Tensions". Most of these conflicts were considered minor in scale however there were several notable events that took place throughout them.
New Age War:
This war took place between the Disciples of Justice and the four nations. The Disciples of Justice were a terrorist organization which had members from all of the nations. This conflict sparked debate as to whether it was a major or minor war. Compared to the Hundred Year War, it was considered minor because it only lasted a year. On the other hand, this war was very destructive and lead to more deaths in one year than most years of the former war. It left a stained legacy as the Disciples of Justice waged guerrilla warfare from their underground (hidden) bases throughout the nations.
Still, not all of their attacks were small or minor. Their leader Zerel staged a bold sacking of the Fire Nation Capital, raided the Northern Water Tribe, and hit Ba Sing Se. Unlike other famous conflicts such as Zhao's Siege of the North or Azula's Coup of Ba Sing Se, Zerrel never attempted to take those territories. Instead, he looked to capture or kill key leaders and spread terror throughout those cities by having victorious strategic strikes within the city. The purpose of these strikes were to hit government centers, great government morale, and show the power of his organization.
The only time Zerrel looked to outright to destroy his opponents was when he activated an ancient weather control device, however this tool was ultimately destroyed by Kett. During his last battle, his final goal was killing Firelord Zuko at all costs with an additional incentive to slay Princess Azula and Commander Macai of the 31st Company. In the end, he fell short of this goal but his tumultuous inspired future anarchist, anti-government, and terroristic movements such as the Red Lotus and Amon's Equalists.
