The Earth Kingdom is the Fire Nation's primary rival in the AMJ story. The Earth Kingdom has the largest population and lots of distinct cultural heritage.

Like the Fire Nation, the Earth Kingdom has a history of tournaments. The Earth Kingdom even has more than the Fire Nation and invented them.

The legendary earthbender Toph was known for fighting in tournaments and training Avatar Aang to earthbend.
Military[]
Like the Fire Nation, the Earth Kingdom had a complex and advanced military. However, the Earth Kingdom's navy was no match for the Fire Nation's and they didn't have an airforce during the Hundred Year War. The Earth Kingdom had many specialized forces such as Dai Li agents, Kyoshi Warriors, and Earth Kingdom Commandos. For much of history, they held the strongest military in the world. However, during the Hundred Year War and timelines preceding it, the Fire Nation began to steadily surpass them with their advanced factories.
For a good portion of their history, the Earth Kingdom was divided. This limited how productive the nation might have been when compared to the other more unified nations during different timelines.
Culture[]
The Earth Kingdom was known for having several great dancers. The people in the Kingdom were very direct and forthright, often making their intentions clear. This caused them to sometimes offend members of the Water Tribe and Air Nomads who had friendlier cultures. On the other hand, these habits decreased the odds that people pretended to be each other's friends or talked about others behind their backs. The Earth Kingdom was known for having diverse cuisine ranging from meaty meals to vegetarian options and diverse use of grains. Their food choices had greater variety than the Fire Nation, Water Tribes, and Air Nomads.
