Pakku was the best instructor in the Northern Water Tribe. He was sexist and believed women didn't make great soldiers regardless if they were waterbenders. Pakku was once the greatest waterbender of his timeline. Pakku often used dry humor and sarcasm to taunt his enemies in battle and give his students a hard time.
Hundred Year War[]
Pakku fought in pivotal skirmishes to limit the Fire Nation's advancement in the Northern Water Tribe and sometimes assisted the Eastern, Western, and Southern Water Tribes in engagements.
Early Encounter with Iroh[]
A young Pakku fought with General Iroh during a skirmish within the Northern Water Tribe before the duo became friends. The Fire Nation General was looking to take down a group of water benders who were stealing Fire Nation corvettes and lightcruisers. Iroh's unit inflicted heavy casualties on Pakku's forces and Pakku barely escaped with his life. This situation made it difficult for Pakku to trust Iroh when Iroh initially joined the White Lotus.
Training Katara[]
Pakku originally refused to train Katara until after she attacked him. Katara held her own though Pakku was holding back but he was still impressed by her skills. Pakku then agreed to help train her and she quickly debunked many of his stereotypes.
White Lotus[]
Pakku was a member of the White Lotus and played a big role in saving Ba Sing Se. He shared important information with other White Lotus members to undermine the Fire Nation.
Love for Kanna (not Kanna Foloki)[]
Pakku fell in love with Katara's grandmother Kanna. The duo would eventually marry.
