Avatar: Macai's Journey is one of the few stories that can fit greatly with a tactical conquest driven game. This game would need to be complementary to a TV series for a clear narrative storyline. A game like this consists of several unimportant characters fighting together and extensive use of AI in offline modes. Teams could range from 16-32 players a piece. Characters would fight in a class-based system with set abilities and appearances.

Game Modes

  1. Quick matches
  2. Campaign
  3. Multiplayer

Quick Matches

Quick matches would be a list of quick offline modes with AI.

Modes-

1. Conquest

In this mode, characters will fight to capture several territories. Territories are taken by standing in a certain area for an extended amount of time. Each territory comes with a flag representing the nation that has it (Fire Nation, Water Tribe, or Earth Kingdom). Modes will have the Earth Kingdom or Water Tribe vs the Fire Nation depending on the map. Each team will have 200 lives. One life will automatically go down every second one team controls more territories than the other. Each map will have five territories.

The territory in a central location will often quickly determine who gets the upper hand but players can get creative in how they may shift the balance of a battle.

2. Capture the flag

This mode would come with two variations (single-flag CTF and multi-flag CTF).

3. King of the hill

Both teams will battle over individual control points rather than multiple ones, making gameplay particularly intense.

4. Heroes vs villains

Heroes:

  • Aang
  • Moriana
  • Toph
  • Jarue
  • Sada
  • General Gambo
  • Raggus Praxus
  • Captain Apeko

Villains:

  • Ozai
  • Zerrel
  • Eyre
  • Alev
  • Goshal
  • Hakon
  • Karanga
  • Solven

Campaign

In the campaign mode, characters would have to accomplish multiple objectives. Each objective completed will award the player with a number of allies on the screen. If the number on the screen is 50, then the player's team has 50 lives. These lives go down every time an AI or the player is killed. Ai and the player alike will respawn until the tally number gets to 16. From there, the number of AI spawned will decrease automatically to more closely match the tally.

Beyond basic fighters, heroes could be summoned on both sides to spice things up.
